Kang Mei Yi, born in 1991 graduated from Dasein Art Academy.  Kang Mei Yi's artwork is to explore different medium to compose and use different perspective to see. Through the printmaking technique and mixed media she explore much different image and artwork.

The Life

My art work is inspired by the life of everything on the earth. I think every substance or object that have  a mysterious energy to link it all together. And everything is like in a system that born and death and keep repeating the system.
I use monoprint to transfer the image on the paper and use white acrylic to cover some image and gauze pattern will repeating in others image too. i like the pattern of gauze it's look like a net and it represent the mysterious energy that all link together.

While I use a variety of materials and processes in each project my methodology is consistent. Although there may not always be material similarities between the different projects they are linked by recurring formal concerns and through the subject matter. The subject matter of each body of work determines the materials and the forms of the work.

Each project often consists of multiple works, often in a range of different media, grouped around specific themes and meanings. During research and production new areas of interest arise and lead to the next body of work.
